This is a driver trail ready Cherokee. 5-speed 4.0 power windows, locks, blinkers, wipers and window sprayers, etc. Everything still works on this rig, even the cruise control. I drive it to work atleast once a week, a 50 mile round trip. Heres a quick run through of the mods... Im sure Im forgetting some things.
Three linked 1979 F250 high pinion dana 44 front w/ 4.88 gears, Detroit locker, inner/outter chromo shafts, high steer, bigger brakes and warn locking hubs.
Dana 60 rear that is open with 4.88 gears (left open for drive ability on street)
A/C converted to onboard air.
Rock lights.
New style radiator and electric fan
Rock sliders.
Trailworthy Fab recentered Hummer H1 beadlocks and rockrings with 38" TSL's mounted on them. TSL's are 90% or better tread.
Unibody has been tastefully plated and reinforced.
Heavy duty bumpers front and rear w/ recovery points.
All four doors are removable.
I bought it from a buddy of mine. He owned it since he was 16, drove it all through high school, had NASA offroad of Dayton TN build it for him back in 04 or so. After building it he still daily drove it for years until he put it up for sale and sold it to me this past summer.
