Sold/Expired Wtb: 4L80E to Atlas II adapter

Re: Re: Wtb: 4L80E to Atlas II adapter

I think an atlas will bolt up in place of the nvg261/3 that comes behind a 4l80... Unless it's a 2wd 4l80 of course.

Might need a clocking ring?

far out, is it a cast iron adapter?

Don't think so on the 4l80/nvg26x adapter

iirc people use the 700r4-208 factory adapter to put atlas and round pattern 205s behind th350s and 700r4s and it's iron

From what I understand, with the atlas adapter you just remove the tail housing of a 2wd 4L80E and it will bolt up just like a 4wd. Am I wrong? Of course you would have to cut down the shaft.

Exactly correct.
And I'm sorry I dont know what the specific app is that this piece was in. But from the tranny shop I use. Every single 4wd 4l80 core they have has this bolted on it. They just want $100ish a piece, and GMparts is half that.
