Chevy TH350,700r4- NP208 adapter, 1/2"clocking ring,Ford NP205.

I want twin stick shifters naturally. Anyone running this combo have advice? Shift out the rear, front? I would rather have a standard lever vs cable shift.

Just call ORD they don't have a production set. The guy on the phone said he has to talk to his shifter guy and see what can be done.

I have a couple options. Lock it in low cause its a trailer queen (not liking this at all)
Air shifters or sticks and custom brackets for the pivot.
I am heavily leaning towards the twin stick and pivot just to keep this simple.
I have cable shifter on my 231/300 setup, they work fine but feel like spongy brakes when in a bind.

Chris from ORD called me this afternoon. I explained my setup. He said they could make a set no problem. The pivot would be on a bracket that bolts to some the 6 mount bolts for the NP205.
He said the price would be their standard $210 for the pair.
I was impressed with the call back and conversation that followed. Nice to know I have options other than fabbing them myself.

How are you going to access the rear shift rail as it is within the round 6 mounting pattern? Notch the adapter and clocking ring?
And also what are you using to couple the 27sp output to the 31sp input?

I have a coupler shaft that is made by Advanced Adapters. It is female 27 spline and 31 spline male.
My current plan is to shift the case out of the rear by making new shift rails and adding seals to the rear cover and speedo housing.
I also plan to shave it because is hits my passenger seat mount now.

Here is the recipe for success I hope.
(http://www.patooyee.com/350toford205/350toford205.htm ) notching the 208 adapter for a front shifter.
(http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/general-4x4-discussion/878305-np205-shift-rails-out-rear.html) shifting out the rear.
(http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/general-4x4-discussion/345712-shaving-ford-205-again.html) shaving the top

right on, I remember reading Patooeye's write up years ago on this setup.
I followed that shaving the top thread, but got lazy when I put my 205 in and cut off the rear shifter, locking it in low as it is a trailer queen and I kept the 4.10's in the axles so a 1.96:1 perma low isn't all that bad with 42's and an overdrive trans

Getting started. 5 out of the 6 studs fit the adapter. The one that does not fit and lands right between countersunk bolt and the first stud hole. I plan to slot that one hole in the adapter and used a thick washer/locknut.
