First buggy build

She weighed in at 2781 full weight no riders. A littl heavier then I expected but I blame it on the thick lower frame rail and drivetrain components. Should be getting my springs in this week sometime and taking her for a shakedown run this weekend hopefully

Where did you get it weighed? I'm just putting guess rate coils on mine for now untill I can get it on some scales.

havent touched it since it's been back from powdercoat but did add antirock bar, had to modify rear shock mounts to make everything clear. Also plated the bottom of the 9.5" housing to add some strength. Will add pictures of powder and what not here shortly

The day my brother picked up my chassis for me. Still waiting to get axles done and a few more pieces before she starts to go back together

A video of it from he second aop 4 banger race. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make any of the other races. And now it's going under the knife(grinder/welder) for motor swap and potentially tons. Maybe not at same time but motor is purchased. Updates will be soon

Ditching all of the rubber lines for coolant
Decided on -16 nylon hose front and rear

Couple of block off plates good friend over at tin soldier racing made for me
Egr block off
And coolant lines that ran to and from the heater core on a truck

New rear springs (softer spring rate) are on the way

And finally installed my 5.29s I've had for a year now in the fj/40/mini truck housings

Axles will probably be for sale around January

Hey all, I've been gone for some time. Bought a house, remodeled said house and then worked out of town for about 6 months but I have been busy on the buggy lately

Started on the 609 axles before I bought the house

And finally I got rid of the 22rte and am almost finished with the 3rz swap. Wiring in microsquirt and going to turbo so went ahead and threw in some 550cc injectors. I'll have a few more updated pictures of the wiring as I get further along but this is where it sits now

Also finally got my intake manifold reworked thanks to my buddy Keith. Also current wiring situation pictured. There isn't much room without making a new center console and dash. Wideband will be mounted up near fire pressure regulator because I ran out of room under this panel. And this will all get organized once I hear it run.

Unfortunately no video but I pulled it out last night and got to drive it around the yard for the first time in over a year and a half.
Having an issue with the coolant building pressure and purging out the overflow. I'm thinking it's just an air pocket that I can't get out but I'm not positive, any ideas?

Is that blue/red AN fitting behind the steering pump a coolant line? I have a similar spot (except 160° fitting) that would hold air and couldn't get a good bleed until I drilled and added a bleeder valve on the fitting.

Coolant runs through the frame rails currently. But it's an fittings in the rear and rubber coolant lines up front because I didn't have the space for an fittings. Have considered an like all the way to radiator though.

Well maiden voyage went well besides a sidewall tear. On same Hill cracked my RCI fuel cell. Anyone know of good fixes for that?

Other than that buggy did great motor will be pretty nasty with turbo. Considering bigger Tues now though with more axles and more power
