AOP - Bounty Hill $25,000.00 - September 12, 2015

While its a while out yet we felt the need to go ahead and get this event on the schedule. We will be running the original bounty hill (Bounty Hill from Hell) in a 3 part series. This is required to be able to get all the drivers that want a part of it in the show. Each date will consist of 20 drivers with a 10 minute time limit. The fastest climb will advance to the next event and defend their time if needed. The hill will be covered before and after each event to keep the moisture levels as close as possible. We will also establish rain out dates if needed. This will be an invitational race which means we will invite the drivers to run it. If you have raced with us at the AOP you stand an excellent chance of being invited. Full details will be coming as we get closer to the date. Below are the selected dates.

#2 September 12, 2015
#3 October 10, 2012

Yes. He must defend his time if someone beats him.

Everyone keeps asking what changed with the hill from 2 years ago. Almost certainly a factor was us covering the hill up and keeping it dry.....which had to be done to give a fair chance to all over a 3 month stretch. But my opinion is that it's a result of the evolution of the buggies and the drivers. What are your thoughts?

I was not there, but from what I could tell some of the rocks at the ledge looked to be more exposed and with that the tires were able to grab more and not slip on the loose dirt.

two years of erosion from water and then the fact it was dry was probably the biggest part. Nothing against the drivers or buggies but at AOP if it's wet IDC what you got traction will be an issue.

Yes Bobby asked for number 3 because Ethans Son is due around the time of event #2 and Bobby had a charity event at super lift last weekend

Drivers Meeting at 9:30am CST
Runs start at 11:00am CST

Saturday only $25.00 each
Weekend rate $50.00 each

**All children 12 and under are free.

Gates will open Thursday afternoon.
