What kind of parking/walking would this consist of? Considering making the 5hr trip, but would like to just buzz up there in the little car and park somewhere decent and walk to the obstacle, if possible.

It will be a bit of a walk but don't know the distance. I'll see if I can get that info.

We went and checked this out this past weekend. If they don't get their new parking area done it will be quite the walk. Also get there early, as spectator areas will be at a prime with this hill.

And by judging the hill, someone will be taking home some cash.

Just got word they will have some kind of shuttle setup for people with out rigs.

Big Boulder on the Bottom ledge moved making it pretty much impossible. After all the buggies gave it a try there were 5 or 6 left that had tried the hill but were no broken. they let them bypass the ledge and go for the money.
First guy in a Maroonish buggy climbed it and took home $4k
Todd Puckett climbed it the fastest for $6k
Will Stewart had a fast time but broke just before the finish
Showstopper 2.0 beat on it with 2 drivers to no avail
Hulk Buggy made it up it as well but out of time.

so half the people tried one way then other half got a bypass?

Edited for Clarity. Everyone tried the ledge first round. There were only 5-6 buggies left un broken.
