Ok, now your just showing off........lol. Like the sheet metal work! It's real hard to take your time and do the detail things towards the end of a build when u really want to just go wheeling. So, hats off on keeping your horses whoa'd up!!

are you getting mesh from McMaster? If so do you care to share part# or #'s? Also, I'd like to see more on attachment if you don't mind. Wanting to do something similar on mine.

X2. I really like that mesh.....would look great against a dark contrast.

Beautiful work BTW

The shrouding of the radiator is F-ing awesome!!!!!! Can you post a pic of the mounting of the mesh to the aluminum. You said washer and rivet....[/quote]

Ran through the shop for a minute this evening and mocked up a pic of the stainless mesh and rivet method I used. The back up washers are sold at any home improvement (Lowe's for me), they carry a few different sizes if you needed to use larger rivets for larger opening mesh.

Just make sure the grip range of the rivet will carry the full thickness of all the components.

Pegasus auto racing supplies. Three different mesh sizes available, this is medium. Best price I found for this size piece. Shipping is killer on it though.

Short shop day, so worked on small task.

2.25 spidertrax differential fill port, repurposed as fuel full. Borrowed idea from Sam Collins' badass build on Instagram.

After turning truck around, and having the doors off, I remembered this area needed some work. I was never happy with that long weld run...and I needed an excuse to practice tig welding silicon bronze[emoji41].

So we go from this...

I still need to massage that cab corner a bit, but I'm much happier with the finished look.
