Re: 79 "CJ7"

so it has a trailer v neck for the links? what does it have at the frame side for a joint?

Re: 79 "CJ7"

I'm sure he used the "big"'ball and receiver. 2 5/16 ball is the only way to go when one linking. You don't want to chance it and use the small 2inch ball.

Yes the hitch ball is where it connects to the frame. It flexes surprisingly well and is very strong

Surely its not really?

Re: Big Block Powered CJ7

Not trying to start anything and it doesn't make much difference but, im pretty sure thats a mid 80's 60 front and not a 79. Nowhere near the room on the driver's side axle tube to be a 78-79.

Re: Big Block Powered CJ7

Old hillbilly one link: serves as rear drive shaft skid too seen first one at tellico about 17 years ago when everybody was converting from leaf springs to coils strong as hell good luck with sell looks like a stuff jeep

Re: Big Block Powered CJ7

Are those h1 s recentered? Are they original back spacing?

You could be right. I'm just going off of what I was told by the previous owner. I've been trying to go over it but I couldn't tell you the difference

Re: Big Block Powered CJ7

That's crazy. I've never seen one setup like that before. GLWS
