It has come time in my life to change a few things. I have had this buggy for about 3yrs. This buggy first started out as a trans axial buggy has now been converted to an LS Base Buggy.

Engine 2000 5.3 Motor has been redone. It has all new crank rod and cam bearings. Refreshed the top end. It has a comp cam, torque cam, bee hive valve springs, mast oil pan with an added baffle for rock crawling. Motor runs really well and strong. 2.5 out of the manifolds to 3" to a single chamber flowmaster.

Drive train - TH 400 with boss hog 2200-2800 stall converter, Allison trans filter, standard shift pattern

North West Fab black box, Atlas 2 transfer case, 3.8 gear ratio, 32 spline upgrade, Yukon

1350 yokes, sidewinder shifter, 3 stick cable shifter for the transfer cases (not sure brand)

Front axle - 79 dodge dana 60 axle. Yukon 35 spline chromoly inter and outer shafts, super joints, Yukon drive flanges, Yukon spools, 5.38 gears not sure the brand. Trail gear 8 inch double ended ram, harsh terrain high steer arms, solid diff cover, Yukon 1350 yoke. PSC full hydro

Rear axle - 79 dodge dana 60 axle, Yukon 35 spline chromoly shafts, Yukon spool 5.38 gears not sure brand, Disk break conversion kit, Yukon 1350 yoke.

Suspension - front 2.5 14 inch pro-fender coil overs with reservoir, viper springs

rear 2.0 14 inch pro-fender coil overs with reservoir, viper springs

double tri-angled 4 link front and rear, all lower links are 7/8 heim joints 1 5/8 OD, 3/8 wall DOM tubing, upper links are 3/4 heim joints 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 quarter inch wall square tubing

Chassis - 1.5 inch DOM tubing, unsure who made the chassis but I reworked a lot of it. Set up with rear mounted radiator, battery is in the rear, has some storage in the back, the cage over the motor is removable, aluminum diamond plate top, tinted Plexiglas side panels

Wheel base is 108"

Brand New Wheels/Tires - 17 inch raceline monsters, 4 inch backspace, 40 inch maxxis trepadors competition (stickies), they only have 1 ride at the Flats.

It also has PRP seats, RJS 5 point harnesses, some pro gauges, Engo synthetic rope wench 9500 lbs., 32 inch tron LED light bar, 2 (6) inch light bars, small rock lights all the way around buggy, 31 inch aluminum dual pass radiator with dual fans it is setup on switch for manual use or auto control by ECM.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some things, any questions feel free to ask.

Re: LS 5.3 TUBE BUGGY

Also will take partial trade on parts to build my new buggy.
Looking for built Toyota axles, air shocks, sticky tires, wheels, seats,
The only thing I don't need is drivetrain.

Re: LS 5.3 TUBE BUGGY

How big of a person can fit in this buggy?

Re: LS 5.3 TUBE BUGGY

I am 5' 8" and I fit in it good. My buddy is alot taller and he has driven it around. You have leg room once you're sitting down in the seat.

Re: LS 5.3 TUBE BUGGY

I'm 6'4" and I've driven it around. Can't remember exactly how much room I had, been awhile since I've been in it.

Re: LS 5.3 TUBE BUGGY

Be interested in a partial trade for another buggy or something with cash. It can be 4 cyl. Really into the tracker / sidekick buggy builds.
