I have always liked the idea of expanded metal floors. Some unusual visibility I think is great

I would have done that but I had an obscene amount of 1/8" aluminum plate

Most of the rigs Jesse builds are done that way, so i figured I'd try it. Way more visibility, and hoping it adds a breeze.

Looks like a pillow block bearing. You can get them in town Erik. You might even know someone that has them laying around.

Google P208 pillow block bearing and take your pick. I was told i should use stainless not cast, but have 4 so we'll see how tbey work. The big bearing store has good prices.
