Sold/Expired Forged LS2 NOW PARTING OUT

05 from a GTO odometer read 20,xxx miles
Long story short, I pulled this from a personal car that had a Procharger on it. Didn't notice the knock or noise till I put the motor in my buggy. Made great power just had a noise.
It's got:
LS2 intake
Manley forged pistons
Compstar farged rods
ARP everything including head studs.
Comp cam 54-444-11
Comp valve springs
Rear sump oil pan.

Haven't taken the heads off yet. I would have to assume they are stock. I have everything to make this motor complete minus fuel injectors. Haven't traced down the noise yet. I'm willing to sell it as is for $2900. Could be a nice motor depending on what the issue is. Can send video clips of it in action. Feel free to call or text me. 770-355-9915 Kerry

The pictures of the bottom end before or after the knock? Has the oil got metal in it?

After, that's how the motor sits as of now. Cover up of course. Yes, the oil had a very slight amount of metal "dust" if you will.

I might be interested if you figure out what the issue is. Who built the motor? Compression?

Forged LS2

Turned out to be a front main bearing. Replace it and polish the crank and you could have a real nice motor.
