Tons of questions I know but now I'm looking at orbital valves. I have read and heard that some fork lifts and tractor ones work well in off-road rigs. I know I can get a new trail gear one for 360 or a new Psc one for 460. But I'm trying to keep this kids buggy under 6k. And so far have gotten great deals while keeping it reliable. Just wondering if anyone has heard bad about going this route. And if not where you get these parts?

We always use orbitals off of combines. Can get them for around $20 from a junkyard normally. They work great, and have never had an issues them.

Re: Why not?

I have one that I bought to go on a Toyota and have went tons, it's brand new, I will take 300 shipped for it and the steering column.

That's what I need. How do you find a tractor junk yard. The only one I have ever seen disappeared 10 years ago

As far as the yoga valve we are on tons also. Sorry.

doing a little googling and a little math

if you are using a 2 inch bore 8 inch stroke single ended cylinder with a 1 1/8 inch rod

you will have to turn the wheel 4 1/4 turns to go from retracted to extended, and 3 turns to go from extended to retracted

mines off of a hyster forklift works fine on 8 inch ram for the last 20 years

That's awesome. I have called my local yards and their not sure of any that sell those parts. So I'll keep looking on there and ebay. Are the ones with 5 ports from load sensitive orbitals? Would be nice to have road feedback with these little kids driving.

5 ports is usually a "power beyond" port, auxiliary port to feed fluid to something else
