What is the deal with the tire size? Will it clear larger tires? If not, how much could you lower it and still clear 28s?

That's just all I cared to run on it. It should clear 32s with ease. You could run factory height with 28s. These tires did good trail riding. I put the lift kit on it for ground clearance and it made a huge difference. Plus it had those wheels and tires on it from the dealer.

Going to larger tires will usually require some clutch work. The only area these machines have issues with tire clearance is at the back of the front wheel opening near the foot compartments.

Thanks. And Ye the lift kit also put it +3" wheelbase front and rear so plenty of room for big tires. I don't mud ride. So I really didn't "need" a bigger tire. I just wanted the ground clearance. If I keep it I will put a 31ish truck tire on it. It has 15" wheels.
