I am having this problem. I haven't done diddly to fix it but I only ride in the winter.
But it's amazing how warm everything gets behind the radiator.

Is it causing fuel to boil out of the vent? My last buggy had rad right up against cell. This one has alot more air space and the tank is v shaped towards the rad, to help the air go around it

No but my fuel pump/filter is mounted directly below cell and it all gets hot to the touch. I can't be good.

I never had that problem but had heard about it enough that I took precautions when I was building. I did, however, see one fella at harlan last year that was fighting hot gas. Nothing you can do but just sit for a while and let it cool down. This is the best pic I could find of mine but it's just some aluminum angle welded to the tank and a sheet of aluminum bolted to that. Gives a 3/4" air gap. So far so good.

Thanks Jon, I'm going to go ahead and weld some bungs on my tank before it gets coated, that way I have the option to bolt a piece on there if I need to

Gas pedal, and tcase shifters mounted. And steering lines made up, just have to crimp them at work. Pulling that fire sleeve, SUCKS!

Got started on my carrier bearing and stub shaft got the easy side of the exhaust finished. Added some bungs to the fuel cell, so I can mount a heat shield.

Not much progress lately, been buying a house and working alot. Got rear bumps mounted, and the pain in the ass side of the exhaust crammed in there.

Not much progress lately, just haven't had time. Got light bar mounted, started one fuse panel. And for the 3rd time re-doing the driver side exhaust. Took out the flex joint and put the muffler on the piece that attaches to header. Then I will reduce to 2.5 inch pipe, so it will fit between tcase and frame, the turn down out the rear.

Got most of the accessory wiring done today. Waiting on a few lights to get here, then it will just be needing the few main wires and the wiring will be complete.

It's a 2.5x8 with the 9.7cc orbital. Should be fairly quick steering

Nice job on your wiring...it looks like it is coming together nice and clean.

You will love the Blue Sea fuse panel. Those little fuses that light up if they are blown would be a good touch, since it looks like it is going to be a little dark looking up toward the panel under the dash.

This stuff takes a TON of time, but it pays off when you have to fix something on the trail. Looks good man.

The more simple and less switches you run the less stuff you have to worry about. Looks good man. You are at the worst part of a build!
