Been sharing this thread on pirate and Instagram and thought I'd share it here as well. There aren't a lot of pics and zero build threads of these Bent Fabrications grunt buggies, so here it is.

I'm gonna throw up some pics to play catch up and will update as I get further along.

Specs are
BFR Grunt chassis
Toyota 3rz
AW4 auto with RAD shifter
Dana 300 (32 spline outputs)
9" fab housings
ECGS competition thirds (5:40 gears, spools).
99-04 C's and knuckles
Unit bearings front and rear
39.5 iroks on TG creeper locks
4 link front/rear
14" ori's in the front, 16's out back
Corbeau ultra seats

Waiting on a few parts to finish the upper link mounts, then I can make shock tabs, finish some bracing, and I'll have a roller.

This makes me want to find everything in my possession I don't need and sell it...and only hope to get close to being able to afford one of these chassis. I'm waiting to see how the front end comes together around the sheet metal towers. I definitely like the functionality they add with the orbital mount and such.

That's basically what I did to be able to buy one. The sheet metal towers also incorporate the shocks, orbital, steering cooler, radiator, and overflow tank. They make mounting super easy on this chassis.

Will you start a build thread for Thacker's rig too? He never posts any pics.
Hopefully we all finish up about the same time and can make a Harlan trip.

He never does builds or posts pics anywhere. I'm not gonna do it for him haha, but ya a good wheelin trip will be in the near future.

Been working on remodeling the house so it's been a while since I worked on the buggy. I sold the 3rz combo to a buddy who is finishing my old tin top build...I opted to get four more cylinders.

Love their chassis.

me too, I saw some pics on FB of one they're doing right now with rear steer

that white "rzr killer" they did is one of my favorite buggies

keep feeding us pics, this thing is awesome!

Thanks guys, I'll get more pics up once I have more time to work on it. Gotta get a new oil pan (kevco) to set the engine height so I can build mounts for it. Been looking for a car intake that's not overpriced. Then I have to decide if I want to use a 205 that I have with a NWF black box or just get an atlas after I sell a kidney.

Did you buy it directly from Tim?

The chassis? Yes, picked out the features I wanted and he made it happen. I had to add some stuff myself but that just keeps cost down.

think you'll be able to fit the length of the black box+205 in the chassis without having tcase hanging completely out the back of the subframe?

Good looking chassis man! I tried to get him to build a cage on a jeep I had, couldn't get together on it. He was building cages and bumpers way before the buggy days. He does good work.

Should be plenty of room, there is still some roof for the engine to go forward a bit, but I am leaning more towards an atlas anyway.
