I hate holidays like this....im not a card person, but still usually do SOMETHING.

Any tips from the peanut gallery of "my wife is my baaaast fraaaaaand" gang?

Leaning towards the "20$ of flowers delivered to work" thing / go out to eat TONIGHT or day AFTER V-day to avoid terrible people and crowds.

You told me you are going to take her to that fifty shades of gay movie and dinner

We always get odd looks from the waitress that seats us when we ask to be seated closest to the nearest exit door. Wink

She makes all the money, so she knows if she wants to eat she got to work molaugh

Same here. If my wife wants to eat and have roof over her head  she has to go to work. My wife makes nearly 10 times what I make so she gotta work to pay the bills.

She is not 10x me but I have insurance and put enough into retirement for her and me so we just call her the money maker.

My job is primary stay at home dad. She pays for everything. My jobs are little cash jobs that equal up to almost 1 month salary for her. Its sad and funny. The money I make is our "play" money and sometimes kids lunch money, if I got to work a day or 2.

Was talking to my dad about it today and im kinda like a  house wife from the 50s but I dont cook or clean as much. I keep everything working though, washer refrigerator car suv truck atv sxs and the worst of all my jeep. Hahaha

Went into Publix(local grocery store) and immediately was inundated with Valentines paraphernalia, flowers, chocolates, cards, amongst the 2 foot tall gift wrapped baskets.  Inside of 5 of the wrapped baskets are bunnies, chocolates, and boxes of TROJANS!!!!!!!  I can't make this shit up.  Now if you know anything about Publix stores, they are very clean, organized and soccer mom friendly grocery stores that have good product.  BUT, what the hell were they thinking about when the first thing you and the U-10 soccer team sees when you walk in is a box of prophylactics and Cupid looking like he's found a Viagra milkshake?  I didn't know whether to laugh out loud pointing at them thinking the guy putting them together was dared to put them in or get a manager to see if he was aware of them.  Anybody else found anything like this?   shit
