Rockwell King Pin

I have up and down play at my knuckles. I have brand new King Pin Caps with the Shim. I've been told could be worn out pins. I'm thinking I could make a thicker shim to get some of the play out. Maybe I'm over looking something.

I thought less shim equals less play been a while since I had mine apart might be wrong

There are multiple shim sizes in rockwells. Not sure where you get different shims though.
