Bought this recently for a trip out to Easter Jeep Safari in Moab Utah, had a blast, and now it's time to sell. Note: doors and tires are sold! It will fit 42-44s with minor additional trimming but 40s would be my suggestion. Tires in pics are 42s for reference

1974 Chevy K5 Blazer Full Convertible - Emissions Exempt!!!!
- Fairly low mileage 1995 "k" motor, rv cam, HEI, Edelbrock intake and carb, new oil pan and tune up, Optima redtop battery, always starts and runs well. Came from Denver so it probably needs mixture adjustment. Depending on use and preference I would suggest an aftermarket EFI or junkyard TBI/TPI if money is tight.
- SM465 3 speed plus granny gear manual trans, fully rebuilt with all new internals including updated 2nd gear, synchro and spacer sleeve. No gear pop out issues. JB Fab auxiliary (hand) throttle installed.
- New LUK clutch less than 700 miles ago
- NP205, fixed yokes, 32 spline front output, comes with twin stick shifters that aren't installed yet. Case could use a new seal kit to be perfect.
- Chevy Dana 60 front axle, ARB air locker, new 5.13 gears and all bearings (less than 700 miles), Yukon chromoly 35 spline stub shafts and drive flanges, Spicer u joints, Barnes4wd 3/8" diff cover and Lubelocker gasket
- 14 bolt rear axle, Detroit locker, new 5.13's and bearings, rear disc brake conversion, Barnes4wd pinion guard, also have a brand new not installed Motobilt 13 bolt shave cover that comes with it
- Brand new full PSC hydro assist steering kit recently installed, ORD cross over steering draglink and arm with "low steer" 3/8" wall DOM tie rod
- High Angle Driveline cv shafts, 1350 front, 1350/1410 rear.
- 4" lift Tuff country springs front w/ ORD shackles, Offroad Design shackle flip rear with traction (antiwrap) bar, Bilstein shocks all 4 corners, have 56" springs for rear and 52" springs for front if you want longer travel
- ORD steering box brace, hd engine crossmember, 1" body lift, & braided brake lines on all axles
- All poly body mounts and transmission mounts, DIY4X hd engine mounts
- Full custom roll cage, tied to the frame, PRP seats and Crow harnesses mounted on it, beefy custom front and rear bumpers (Moab tested), Tuffy console, bed toolbox, entire interior bedliner coating, long travel farm jack, fire extinguisher, Powertank for air lockers and/or air tools and/or filling tires
- Mix of factory and Autometer gauges. All lights work. Needs new heater fan motor and windshield if you care about those.

This vehicle is obviously built to take a beating offroad but is VERY streetable. You could honestly use it as a daily driver if you wanted to. I have personally had it over 70 mph on the highway without concern. Previous owner drove it on the street regularly for past 5 years. This has been very well mechanically cared for as the previous owner was a former automotive service tech and currently works for High Country Performance 4x4 in Denver!

This truck is a complete blast to drive both offroad and on the street, I just have too many other vehicles I'm building at the moment and don't really need to keep this.

There are several other things that come with the truck not previously mentioned like a spare water pump, factory steering pump, soft car cover, etc.

Located in Spring Hill, TN 37174.

Thanks,
Jesse

Re: 74 Chevy K5 Blazer - Full Vert, Cage, Tons, 42s - $8,500

Is it free or $100?

Re: 74 Chevy K5 Blazer - Full Vert, Cage, Tons, 42s - $8,500

Decided to include the hard top and 3 sets of doors assuming they don't sell on their own first.

If I didn't make it clear before, this is turn key, ready to ride. I think this would be hard to beat with some boatsides and a dovetail front. I do have some better condition front fenders if someone wants them too.

Re: 74 Chevy K5 Blazer - Full Vert, Cage, Tons, 42s - $8,500

Did a little googling earlier and you can get a 4 wire hookup stand alone Fitech fuel injection system that will support up to 600 HP for under $800 shipped now.

Let's do this, I'll take $8,200 cash including all the doors and hardtop. That means someone could be into this for $9,000 total including a badass aftermarket fuel injection system.

Re: 74 Chevy K5 Blazer - Full Vert, Cage, Tons, 42s - Now $8,200

Wheels and tires are going up for sale separately. Bring your own and the price is $6,700

Re: 74 Chevy K5 Blazer - Full Vert, Cage, Tons - Now $

Wheels and tires are sold. New price is $6,700 bring your own wheels and tires. If it doesn't sell in 2 weeks, I'll order a Fitech unit myself and price will jump up to $7,500.

Re: 74 Chevy K5 Blazer - Full Vert, Cage, Tons - Now $6,700

If it motivates anyone I will sell the K5 with these wheels and tires for $9,000 total. They are 39x14.5x16.5 Pitbull Maddogs in bias ply on 8 bolt Trailworthy Fab recentered H1 8x6.5 double beadlocks with rock rings and pvc inserts. Backspacing is around 4". There are 5 wheels and 5 tires. The tires have been wheeled some but are probably better than 90% tread and the spare wheel and tire are still brand new, never mounted, never used. These are "factory" TWF wheels, not a DIY hackjob. This was about $5,000 worth of wheels and tires brand new.

If someone wants the wheels and tires by themselves I would entertain $2,500 cash (half of retail).

Re: 74 Chevy K5 Blazer - Full Vert, Cage, Tons - Now $6,400

Price is negotiable. Several accessories like bumpers, bed box, power tank, fire extinguisher, hand throttle, and high lift can be removed to lower price if you're just trying to get it as cheap as possible.

how is she on the street

Pretty dang good with a set of balanced radials like the MTRs that were on it before. The unbalanced bias ply Maddogs that are on there now are a rougher ride on the street. Some of that is inherent from tire construction and some of it is lack on balance media inside right now. I have a set of balanced 42" radial Rockers I need to try on it but man are they heavy. We could run both in test drives to show difference but I'd need a hand.

BTW, I'm open to trades on a decent camper that will sleep a minimum of 3 grown men comfortably, prefer smaller than 30' but bigger than a pop up
