What are you listening to? A music thread.

Turnpike Troubadours, whole "diamonds and gasoline" album is good. I can skip 2 songs on it, including the title track, but good ****. Several not on that album as well like Easton and Main, Time of day etc
Jinks
about 1/4 of sunny Ledfurd (adderal, I wanna hear some songs, Afterparty, etc)/ some Ziggy pockets (reasons why)
Some Whiskey Meyers,
Walen Waymore's blues, never could toe the mark, without a net, Rainy day woman, Slow rollin low, T for Texas, Bob Wills is still the King, There ain't no good chain gang (or by cash, or anybody). I could go on for hours, not enough time. Favorite act I never got to see and didn't appreciate when he was alive
Some Ray Wylie Hubbard and CCR's cover of wanna rock & roll. Choctaw bingo, etc.
about half of hank JR's music. Hard to not sing to dinosaur as mentioned. OD'd in Denver.
jason Boland When I'm stoned, Hank, lots more
Jackson Taylor and the sinners Whiskey drinkin song
Stapleton, pick one. so many. Nobody to blame, Might as well get stoned, Traveller
Stoney Larue Down in flames, Oklahoma breakdown,
Creager, everclear
Band of Heathens, Hurricane
Charlie Robison, El Cerrito place, My hometown, photograph, New years day
Scott Miller & the Commonwealth, Eight Miles per gallon
Lynyrd Skynyrd ballad of curtis leow
Rehab, bartender song
Willie, I can get off on you
Kevin Fowler Lord loved the drinkin man,
Casey donahew band. Very few, not crazy about most of his sound, but "go to hell" is good along with a few others like "White trash story".

I have a whole rock list I love as well. Then we go classic rock and its a huge list as well. Early 2000's hip hop and 90's rap has some great ****ing cuts also.

I started a list. But it was this list. Literally.

There are lots of rap songs (usually about cars) from the early 2000s that I'll jam as well. Back when we used to put systems in everything...

Side note: tune a stereo to play Space Lord (Monster Magnet) clean and clear and loud, you've accomplished something !

I cannot list everyone but the current station on Pandora is Turnpike Trebadoors...

Favorites...
Robert Earl Keen, Jason Isbell, Wiskey Myers, Old Crow, Jamie Johnson, Guy Clark, Wayne the Train Hancock, Charlie Robinson, Bruce Robinson, Billy Joe Shaver's, Reckless Kelly... Etc

I'm going pretty steady on Lil Dicky and Mickey Avalon on Pandora. If I'm somewhere in Wi-Fi where I can use YouTube without burning up data, I've been watching a lot of Puddles Pity Party.

Been watching A LOT of mash-ups too...

A little something old school "My daddy was a Gibson my momma was a Fender That's why they call me, Mindbender, Mindbender That's my name."

Bringing this backup.

I've been listening to a lot of the black keys and the dead south. I pretty much wear their pandora stations out.

Depends on what I'm doing. I use Google Play Music app, I can listen to pod casts, music, etc. from my laptop while working or bluetooth from my phone in a vehicle or at the gym.

In the shop or hanging out in the house
Cody Jinks Radio on Google Play (Cody Jinks (obviously), Chris Stapleton, Whiskey Myers, Tyler Childers, Cody Johnson, Jamey Johnson, Turnpike Troubadours, Luke Combs, etc)

At the gym
Breaking Benjamin Radio (White Zombie, Disturbed, etc.) I don't really follow rock music. I just like it for the gym to get going, so if you have a suggestion for a group to listen to, I'm all ears.

Pod Casts
Joe Rogan - He interviews some interesting people. He also has a different view point on some things. It's interesting to hear someone else's perspective at times.
Dan Bongino - I listen to him at times about current events/ political BS going on. If I feel like I need to understand what is going on, he usually has a good perspective and can explain things in normal people terms.

I have listened to a progressive Metalcore band from Birmingham called ERRA non stop for a month now. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you listen to their albums 3-5 times you will be hooked. If you like musical talent that is.

This is the playlist I listen to most of the time
