Horsin around buggy build

Old beat up buggy I just picked up. This will be my first every all tube chassis. It has been beat hard and put away wet, has dents and dings but nothing that can't be repaired. Lots of spots where things have been cut off so many flap disk will need to be destroyed cleaning it up.
It will have a bone stock 04 5.3
Th350
Nwf eco box to Ford 205.
Gm h052 and 05 up superduty 60. 4.56 gears
1350 driveshafts.
42 mtr stickies on steel allied beadlocks.
And some paint. Kinda dig the color so it might stay. Maybe add a few tubes here and there and incorporate some horse shoes that goes along with a side hobby that me and the wife have and fix the node for the door bar to a pillar where the door bar ends on the a pillar.
Plans are 99 percent trail ride and maybe waste some money entering an outlaw race or 2 that I will never win just to mark off the bucket list!

Lol, never thought the rear axle would draw someone's attention. I have 4 of them.

Ha they are an odd-ball old school axle that always gets my attention. I swapped one into a CJ7 years ago, but didn't know anything about them until then.
 
Got ambitious and through the rear axle under there. Have to make new lower mounts to work with the lower links but uppers are good. Bump pads almost line up. Just a couple inches there. Quick measuring on the shock tabs it has puts me on a 18 inch coilover. Idk if I want that big of a shock. I can build different mounts to run a 14 or 16 or should I say ef it and put 18s on it like it had originally?

Got ahead of myself thinking this truss would work since it's simple. Looking at pics of this buggy when it was complete has changed my mind. It is going to end up really tall. I plan to do some hill killing races and need to slam it down. It will have 18 inch coilover/bypasses on it. Wish I could get shorter shocks but funds aren't there. I need a 9.7 cu orbital and a de ram yet also.

This is before I bought the buggy. Previous owner had it on 18 inch shocks. I just overlooked how tall it was and only was on 39s.

Lost my password and reset wont work, taking a long time working on this thing. Sold the mtrs and bought the cut comp boggers from jake pike, need to figure put my steering system, want less than 2.5 turns but have a stock hydroboost on it.
