I saw some big checks (numerically and actual physical big fake prize kind) go across my facebook feed last year for hill climbing stuff.  All these checks clear?  Haha.

Just wondering if the dollars are in the sport for 2019?  I know a guy that might come play...

Ford screwed up by trying to get all ricer and add 13 cams and a bunch of valves to their v8s.

Still have that chassis, panels, skids, links, rebuilt shocks, housings, shafts etc sitting here ready to be bolted together, and have since gotten some Strange thirds, 6 timken UB's and other stuff needed to make it go.   Just haven't had time.

Shannon wasn't even in the race.   He had lost a trans right out of the gate and got a ride back to camp, swapped trans and went back out under DQ for backwards on course to out of order pit.   We also had problems and were down, he blew buy us in Aftershock and picked through the field of people that were actually in the race  Laughing

Woot Good shit, and I've also wondered the same just out of curiosity on the original question, must be because they have evolved enough to be running bypasses, actually doing shock tuning and spending good money on Safety.

I recall a few wanna be racers from this here forum placing 6th in the LCQ and finishing the course that 2009 KOH.   Double Thumbs. And yes Shannon Campbell past us 2 times on course, both times hauling major ass  molaugh
