Diabetes and Kids

Just a little update. We go next Thursday to get vitamin D levels checked.

Granted it's just about summer time and when the girls play outside like kids should be doing, their bodies are making plenty of vitamin D.

We don't wear sunscreen anymore. When it hits full blown lake season we will after being on the water for a while.

Glucose levels are looking outstanding. Average of 102 with a dinner dose only. Even then we don't really need to.

She's gained 4lbs and has grown almost 1" since our big changes.

So my goal is to post a video next year of the 2 of us both taking glucose readings side by side then scarfing a banana then checking side by side again.

All with no dose.

Have a great summer guys
