This Crane Axle product is a low dollar high reward upgrade. It replaces the last weak link in a Dana 60 Knuckle by removing the Dana 60 King Pin Springs that were designed for OEM wheels and tire weight. When upgrading wheels and tires on a Dana 60 axle, the springs compress too much causing damage to the existing bushings and other King Pin parts. This kit replaces these springs with heavy durometer bushings.
The white cone bushing replacements are also included in the premium kit. If you're unsure if you need them or not, we recommend just ordering them. It is only an extra $7.00 and it is better to have these bushings on hand if they are needed.
