Wife took a video of us feeding today. These are my heifers that will be having their first calf this spring. My wife is filming, my oldest is out helping, the two youngest are in the pickup napping.

Thanks man. I ranch, not farm, but yeah. Altogether I run a 320 head cow/calf operation on about 5,200 acres.

Here is a video of some of the older cows. I am a dealer for the hydraulic bale bed that is on my pickup, I sell and install them. They are krogmann bale beds built in Sabetha KS.

I am about to haul cows home, so I went out and started the "cow car" and made a video. 1973 Peterbilt cabover with a 350 horse 2 stroke Detroit with a 13 spd. 47ft Wilson cattle pot.

Re:

No ranches here, everybody that has cattle is always referred to as cattle farmers, so I just say farming cattle. Most around here only have about 20-30 acres, some bigger, some smaller. Mostly as a side hustle besides their day jobs. Crazy to compare how big 5200 acres would be, that's insane.

I noticed on your YouTube page that none of your trucks really seem rusted out like they would be here in Ohio. Do they not use salt in South Dakota?

No they don't use salt on the roads. I think some of the cities may use some salt on the streets though. I lived in Rapid City for awhile and my 94 f150 has rust, that is what I drove then. I just bought an 05 Excursion, I don't think I could have found a cleaner one in the entire united states, I am very happy with that purchase. Eddie bauer edition with the 6.0 powerstroke.
