I've been hit three times on the range. Blood only showed up once. Twice were in the pits with 5.56 off the metal target trays. Once I caught a mangled bullet between my blouse and t-shirt BZO'ing a rifle.

I wasn't there for that shot, but if you spend enough time at the range and shoot enough rounds, strange stuff happens.
