    Scale Class Discussion WARCRC

Here is my High Lift setup... And my Mudder is setup almost exactly the same. I have zero steering problems with either truck.

See, that was a good, unbiased point of view! I guess I would agree, mount everything on the chassis, as a real rig is. No matter what, there will always be a "pay to play" aspect to the hobby. If your scaler chassis does not allow for chassis mounted steering you need to buy a new chassis.

I love it. My trucks all fit that description perfectly, but I have to wonder if requiring chassis mounted servos might be the one thing that keeps someone out of the class. Not all chassis's offer that as an option.

I agree. I think the no reverse rules and all that crap made comping less fun. If there were just a bunch of us with scalers playing follow the Leader, I would be perfectly happy with that. Something to do between runs!

The K2 has problem of being a 4-link suspension and not true chassis rails, it has side plates, if that is going to ake a difference. I doubt it will.

Also, if something comes into quetion, it is the burdon of the driver to prove it's legal. If you have a Bronco body and you can find a picture of a similar year Bronco with a three link suspension or whtever has come into question, then it's legal.

Well, it's about time this finally came up! My thoughts... leaf or spring, whatever is appropriate Tires in wheel well up to 1/2 tires outside body realistic tires realistic height As far as servo and bttery mounting, I don't care either way. However, both of my scalers hav full bumper to...

    What's that in your bed???

Hi everyone. I am from the RC side of this site, but I need some help from you real truck guys! (You'd all gang up on me if you knew what I drove... but that's another story). I am wondering, what are all the things you carry in the beds of your trucks while out with them? I am starting a...

What size brake line on a tuber?

Mine is the other. I think actual brake line looks too thick for a TLT. Solid steel looks much better.

    Scale Class!

What makes it a scaler? Just the chassis style, as in ladder frame? I just started this one tonight...

    Deployment Project

If you ask me, that is a lot of money for a tube chassis, regardless of who makes it. Labor aside, you are looking at under $30 in materials! I made mine in under a week... Let me know if you'd like me to make something for you, I can definitely beat that price! check out the site in my sig...

    Finally!

Most of you guys here won't remember it or know about it, but I used to own offroad-rc.com. It went offline about a year ago and I've finally managed to get my site back online, but my domain was already taken! So now it's at bluemonster-rc.com, just an enthusiast site, but I like it and it had...
