    Shock tuning

I agree with Adam. I would try a lighter valve stack. I did not have success with flutter stacks in an emulsion shock. There is such a big difference in how it rides in the morning vs how it rides at the end of the day, as the oil turns to foam. Feels like no valving driving back to the...

    Shock tuning

With the flutter you shouldn’t take anything out of the 70 stack. You only add the flutter stack on top of it. Generally, flutters use a couple .008 for the main or more and then the smallest diameter shim under it with varying thicknesses. The thickness of this small shim affects for how...

    Clayton H. Accident

@ Jeff Furrier. What do you think about tbitoy’s idea of a containment seat with suspension? the harnesses would have to be part of the seat, pivot on the front so your legs stay put.

    Clayton H. Accident

From the eyewitness account, it sounds like the g force was in the forward direction and not downward like we predicted. I’ve been looking for videos that show how the shoulder harness was mounted. 35 seconds in. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_dUuGQIciI0#fauxfullscreen I think it is important...

    Clayton H. Accident

This is for the shoulder harnesses that are coming loose. It does make it more difficult to adjust, but they do not loosen. https://www.summitracing.com/search/product-line/g-force-seat-belt-anti-slip-springs

    Solar Eclipse

My nice Jackson helmet works fine set on 13. Don't see any spots afterwords. The cheapo helmets, needed to wave my finger in front of the sensors to keep the lens dark. It helped turning the sensitivity up and slowing the speed down or long delay.

    Ackerman vs reverse

wrong direction, to change Ackerman. Move the tie rod location sideways on the arm, toward the wheel to make it correct. Honestly don't worry about it. Get as much steering angle as your axle shafts will let you. Leave the hole centered for 0 Ackerman and shorten the arm as much as you can to...

    Ackerman vs reverse

On the wagon, the tie rods are behind the kingpin/ball joints. So you have to continue that line past the kingpin pivot in the same direction. To correct your Ackerman you would need to move your tie rod mounting locations out. Towards the wheel.

    Troubleshooting brakes

Plastic lines and a booster sounds like a bad combination. Sounds like your booster isn't working.

    Amc motor

I couldn't justify spending money on building an old heavy motor to run on pane. Dollar per Horsepower per pound, LS something or other. Just like everybody else and their brother in law.

    Dana 60 axle shaft machining

I did it with a bunch of used cut-off wheels. I dont know if i would do it again, because it took such a long time. Maybe if i found the right size wheel. Im thinking 2", maybe smaller. Still a lot of grind and check, grind and check.
