The DC electric carts being slow on hills is why I went with the RXV. The AC drive on the RXV and newer Yamaha 48v carts, doesn't lag at top speed on hills like the DC carts. It DOES lack a little of the take off and pulling power of the DC carts, but just flat out running, mine does 19-21mph...
