how did you mount your tube bender...just got a pro-tool HD 105 bender and need sum info and sum pics on how to mount it to my floor....all hand power....thanks

I dont have enough room to dedicate an area for my bender (JD2) so I mounted it to a piece of 2" sq tube 3' long and I just throw it in the reciever hitch when I need to use it. Also I've loaned it out a few times and its convienient not to have to loan out my garage at the same time.

I welded a receiver onto the side of my trailer and mounted the bender on a piece of 2 inch tube. Works well and it is mobile.

I copied this design, works good and is moveable around the shop. IIRC 3" sch 40 pipe is a very tight fit over the HF style ram. A set of casters are also in the future for easy movement around the shop.
FYI, if you use this style, make sure the ram is far enough back for the two arms to close.

Hydro on the cheap... I like it:awesomework:

I just bought the stand for it and bolted it to the concrete with anchors.

Used a roto hammer to drill holes in the garage floor for all thread nuts and then epoxied the nuts into the floor. Bolt the bender to the floor when I need to use it then unbolt and move it out of the way the rest of the time.

might also be a good idea to mount it somewhere that you can adjust it to be level. Ive been using medic!'s bender and his is mounted to a large table with adjustable feet on it
