Elbe

Does anyone know the conditions at Elbe right now? I saw the thread from last weekend and was wondering if anyone has been up there since. :beer:

Just got back, the snow sucks. Crunchy on top, and slush underneath. Couldn't stay on top for **** and it was very slick. I'll have pics and vids up in a few, I'll start a new thread though.

Headed up with Baryard, TJSINBrad, and a few Toyotas (not sure if they're on here or not). It was slick early in the day then traction got a little better towards the end. Good times, no pics but I'm sure someone has some. I think I had more fun getting my tow rig in and out of the parking lot than wheeling...

Elbe 1-11-09

Had a good time at Elbe today.

Players: As previously mentioned by Fubar in his post...plus a few yota guys from P-Town.

Road Up: Not too bad. Made it all the way to the campground pulling the trailer/jeep. Fubar demonstrated the prowness of his 22" all season radials! TJSIN Brad's heavy chevy needed a tow after getting stopped on the ice.

Trails: Ran the Mainline (all of it). Swamp trail, Gotcha, etc. Spent a lot of time breaking trail on the higher stuff. We cleared a few downed trees off the Mainline ext. trail. Good day in the snow:awesomework:
