Soooo...i've kinda put together a small list of things to do to the jeep before I can take her out.
-wheels an tires..want some close to 35s (in the works)
-shocks all the way around
-front coils its gotta match the 7in in the rear (in the works)
-im ok with the axles for now...they a puney but oh well
-i have rear windows...but a spare set it goo to have:;
-ima need to have doors at some point...
-goin to fab myself a tailgate kinda thiny instead of havin a hatch
other than that i will need front an rear bumpers, an i gotta thrush turbo muffler (OH YEA!) for it...an i will need to figure out the ignition issue...maybe just run a bypass switch?

Oh! an I found a 5 point harness in the back! so here she is now!

Jeep $50
ignition switch $6.50
muffler $28.75
new battery cable $4.50
total so far! $89.75:awesomework:

haha...yea...well i think about 4in blocks....i gotta figure out what i can do to ditch the blocks but keep the hight

ditch the blocks all together and only lift the front 3 1/2", then cut the fenders, get the correct BS wheel, and throw some 35's on it. Dont look back.

I've built a cherokee or two. mine only has RE shackle's in the back, stock springs, and 35's. i have room for some 38.5 sx's tho :;

Keep the jeep as low as possible, every inch lower it is from 7", will increase stability and drivability a large amount.You want this thing to handle and sidehill nice. If your in it for looks, i wouldnt go over 4.5", let alone 7, for 35's.

.

lower the rear, get some 35's. and trim to fit.:D

well I was planning on ditching the blocks for sure...but whats the best solution for my rear then?? I've seen people do all sorts of stuff, but honestly this is the first time I've build anything myself, should I go for some kinda shackle lift or add a leaf system?

I made some shackels for my jeep.. flexes good and all but they hang down a little to far for my likeing. Low buget build tho just welded on some cheep two pice shackels to the stock shackels and threw a sqr tub in the center cost me nothing had the scrap laying around.

Does the jeep have lift springs already? or 7" blocks? What the heck is goin on back there. I can solve all your cherokee problems.

take a picture or somethin :haha:

I'm not a jeep expert, but pics of what is in there already would sure help. Unless you plan on tearing it all out and going with all new stuff.:;

what I believe are stock leafs with huge blocks in the rear...no shocks at all...an stock coils up front...i did take a pic...so I will post when I'm off work

take out the blocks, get 2" coil spacer pucks in front, add a leaf in the rear. bolt on some 35" wheels and tires, cut to fit, weld the rear, wheel it til it breaks and fix it.
