Comfortable---I think its more competitive than anything. When you get comfortable with your rig you should also understand it and its limitations.

i so agree. first yr i wasnt braking either but the more comfortable i got the more competitive i got. i started pushing my jeep more an got a heavier foot. i on average broke every other trip. mostly axles. but got that will be fixed with my chromallies.:awesomework:

And best part about that is a stock toy housing can't go 40 degrees--so you can have fubared steering stops and won't break them because of it.

You are right, a Toy knuckle wil NOT go 40 degrees, even if you take the felt seal off. We made the birf trun 40 degrees just to be safe. We test them at full turn in our machine when we break them. They are just as strong straight as full turn. If you break them its not do to over steering.

Thats good to know Thanks Bobby!

But thats only with your newest axles right? Can the older 27 or 30 splines do the same 40 degrees or do I need to make sure my steering is dialed in with your older longfields?

The 27 spline stock ones will not turn 40 degrees.

Again I will ask what kind of diff/locker are you running up front.

I thought you were asking Ed.

I run a high-pin with a Detroits front and rear. In a Diamond house.

It's good to hear Bobby say that turning too sharp won't break his axles. I don't know how I broke mine then:scratchhead: Oh well it's been a long time and I would never run anything but. No problems these days:cool:

The new Inner axles are sitting on the bench and use the same stock hub gears he said!Who told you u need hub gears?

i was just asking if you got them i know he has a package deal that comes with the hub gears.....thats all! nice bling bling!! Did you at least get some stickers...LOL!!!:cheer:

When you break the hub gear and it Fs up the birf you will know why you need hub gears.

Thanks so much to you and Money for the longs!! K2Blazen and I are going to be having some fun tonight in his nice warm shop! were going to have an axle party!! getting ready for reiter this weekend!!:awesomework:

I see

If they are bobby's chromo 30 splines to retain the warrantee on them you must run his hub gears....
