I have a 84 4runner with power steering. I know i need to put a ifs box on to run hysteer but i dont know where exactly to put it. I have the new box and the mount kit from trail gear. any pointers??

When you mount it, when the tires/pitman arm are straight, you want the Tie rod to be 90* to the frame, if that makes sense.

Put it as far forward forward on the frame as possible, figuring for moving the front axle forward...It sucks when you have to move the box again after moving the front axle forward...Most of the time I put it as tight to the body mount as possible, which will allow moving the axle forward up to 1.75" if you do decide to...:awesomework: Pics of one I did...This one didn't actually get quite as far forward as I would normally do--and set up this way would only allow maybe .75" axle forward movement. Since then I've done a few more, and set the IFS box more vertical, and further forward on the frame yet, which moves the pitman down, but there are a couple different aftermarket pitmans that help keep the tie rod away from the spring (Flat arm, and 1 inch drop from flat, depending on what's needed...)
