Aetna open ride sunday was great! Any pic's or vid's?

Ride was great ! Weather slowed turn out! everyone there had a good time!!! Hope to see you all for the Halloween party!! I might camp! for a night ride!
I was there at 7am broke and repaired by 8;30 broke and repaired by 9;30 , battery shorted out , went to get one, fixed by 11;00 rode 7 hr's till 6pm ! Took it a little easier rest of the day! my turn to watch!

Never saw any but did run into a goofy looking guy on a tiny dirt bike wearing a batting helmet that was lost looking for Black Creek. Though about kicking his ass just for calling the mountain by the wrong name but instead my buddy accidentally gave him bad directions.

haven't heard of any issues. plus when that many people are there if they did enforce the issue everyone should go to court and flood the court house that would make the news ! The case would get threw out! they will enforce it some time! for now no sign of new construction twra only owns the property between the powerlines, peanutbutter is on private property and power right of way we rock works to prevent run off to the river keep people on the right of way and remove our trash we hope they will continue to let us ride till they build houses on the lookout side! tbi you know all the subdivision side is private property an they have not enforced that ,we rock works with everybody to TRY to make them happy, you know that can NEVER be done ! If the bicycle riders who pay no road taxes to use their bicycles on the our public roads wanted to use that land that would be ok! WE ALL HAVE TO SHARE WHEN AND WHERE THEY WANT RIDE! SHARE THE ROAD!!! FU#@ THAT !!!! SHARE THE MOUNTAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE OUR TAX DOLLARS TO KEEP THE MOUNTAIN OPEN!

Glad you got it fixed. Had one buggy kill a double ended ram, but was fixable, and another kill his tranny early in the morning near Horsepower. We had a few minor things and the pic is my only real damage and I had it fixed in 5 minutes. Need to weld on my beadlocks and be done with it. We pulled out 2 different full size 4 door Tahoes, in different places that were bone stock, one was 2wd. Gotta love the drunk idiots.

What is this Halloween ride? Is it going to be another open ride?

Was it driven by a shirtless guy with really bad tattoos on his arms and chest? Think it was red or maroon. If so we pulled him out of the hole by the bluff one hill over from PBH by the rock ledges.

no the one I followed was dark blue or black!

It was a great weekend ;D felt sorry for the people that where lost up there. U would think since this was a Ringgold Off Road sponsored event they would have had someone or at least a few signs to direct the ones that had never been up there off the mountain. We Rocks Halloween Party is NOT an open ride. It's a party for the We Rock members and there guest. There are no rangers on Aetna. TWRA has not made a formal announcment about there property on Aetna even though there land is posted. Everyone should ride Aetna while they can ! Black Creeks funding for the road going up the mountains is for sure and they are going to be starting on the road and sewage lines before long and I would say TWRA are not far behind them on there formal annoucement.

Ringgold Offroad used to do guided rides for these. Usually 2-3 groups depending on build and a leader and tailgunner per group. After Marc's accident and now with John gone it's a bit unorganized. We were asked that morning if we wanted to lead a group.

Travis buggy ended up burning 1st and 2nd gear out of it the pump or torque converter went out the line running to the trans. cooler would not get hot so we are thinking the pump went out took they took it apart sunday and got parts order

I really wanted to see him beat on it too. Glad he made it out OK.

I just wish I had a motor, missing out on good riding weather.

it was a good ride rob 1st time Angie been in year she enjoyed maybe she can go more since Piper is home now
