I know most people use automatic transmissions in their buggies these days, but i'm building one with Samurai drivetrain. I thinking about cutting the factory stuff off to use, but was considering getting an entire aftermarket assembly.

What are you guys using for master cylinder/clutch pedal assemblies and would I benefit from keeping the stock setup and utilizing the brake booster.

I'm running Toyota axles w/ stock brakes.

I know smufy90 built a Sammy buggy I need to find his build thread

I have built two Samy chassis using all three stock pedals. It works great. Takes up a little more room, but it also saves about $4-500. The 1 seater I done I used Wildwood pedals and used a push/pull slave cylinder from speedwaymotors.com it works great also And takes up less room. I just like to use what I have. Good luck on your build!

I used a wildwood kit on my buggy, triple reservoir set up and it worked great. Just make sure to get the right size m/c if you go that route. Think I had 300ish in the set up.

No clutch but I'm making this brake pedal for my buggy. The master cylinder is one I had laying around and the pedal ratio is 7.5 to 1 and takes up less room than a stock Sammy assembly
