Tire repair list (vulcanize)

Funny- I cut a tire last week at Clayton OK; brought home to TX.

Long story short I called folks in OK/ TX- they act like vulcanizing is lost art.

When I was in TN, folks in Shelbyville (Landers) got mine repaired quick.

Guess I should start vulcanizing tires in TX.

I agree, here in Oklahoma there isn't much for options. this has to be something we can learn to do........ anyone have an idea where to learn how to???

Youtube? All it look like to me was a patch and burning in new rubber?? I dont know that's my guess. :dunno:

Think this can be fixed? You can't throw a cat through it but you probably can push a kitten through...

Pretty sure they have a location in dalton you can drop off and pick up at. That saves about an hour driving.

I'm stretching and cutting the jeep after the first of the year and will buy new tires then, so I don't want to throw money at tires when i'm going to be replacing them in a couple months.
