So this is what i am thinking for the back bed and exo cage of my truck looking for feedback some advice etc. I am planning on taking like 10-15in out of the wheelbase to so consider that. the blue from the cab on is the exo cage. The shot of the rear is how i want the cage to look flush to the cab and the obviously either side shot and i want all point connected to frame obviously and also i waznt to run a diamond plate bed i love that stuff looks so pretty and it will be fun to beat the **** out of it and look at peoples looks the give me:kissmyass: :flipoff:

All the side shots are pre- any lift or Iroks and the rake in those pictures sure makes it look like a good-old-boy 2wd farm truck. The only pic with lift & tires is the ass shot.

Are you planning to build this yourself? It would be well worth your time and money to sit down with someone with experience building cages. I'm sure you could find someone willing to help you out if you provide the beer. I don't have enough experience building cages to be confident in anything I'd design without asking for someone else's input (I realize that's what you're doing here), but I have spent quite a bit of time studying designs and can say that there are WAY too many weak points in your preliminary design. It would be better to start over from scratch.

My suggestion would be to spend some time checking out PBB. There are lots of fullsize guys that have already done the hard work.

triangulation is key and considering i am keeping my existing frame it doesnt need to be crazy strong its not gonna be holding anything import except my cooler and a spare tire!!!! and if u look in the garage i have my truck posted and no its not a 2wd itis a 4awd. And yeah i am having crash help me with the cage hopefuly and when i get home from work i will post an updated pic that someone sent me when i sent them my truck pic its has like 4 times the triangulation in the back and i am completly skapping the front exo cage
