Reiter: 2/24

Well, #1 son and I, after distracting, er, visiting Mike at 'The Shop', went up to Reiter so I could show him the area. He brought his camera, which was great, because I wanted some pics of me and the rig. We first drove down Isabelle, through the puddles. I dropped son off between puddles and he took some pictures of me in the puddles. I gave the rig swimming lessons, again, and it passed.

We went as far as the torched Ford. Sorry, still not sure about 'ford'ing May Creek just yet, with my rig.

We then went up to the Cable Trail, and at the end, under the power lines, found about 6 inches of snow. Good Times! Found out that no matter what 4x setting you have, snow is slippery on a slant. Sorry, no pictures of the snow we slid in.

Had fun. Lots of pics. None small enough to put here. Except for the one....

i use photodump, but thats only because photobucket and imageshack take up too much bandwidth on my home computer.

Next trip up, I'll have wife with me. Gonna show her a couple spots. Hopefully, the snow will be gone. And then I can try the powerline road that goes uphill, from the end of Cable. I don't think I wanna try it with snow there.

cool. i am a little lost, tho, since i only know where isabel is. the rest are just names. is powerline the one that goes up by the sand chasm?

Sand Chasm? Well, I dunno about that. The end of Cable I'm talking about is where we all split up after the Work Party on 2/17. KarlVP can verify location.

And if I can find the post of the wife and my trip there, you'll hear more.

We were at the entrance to the cable trail when we cut up that tree.

I thought we were about halfway...

I did finally notice a trail the goes up the hill from about where we cut the tree. Is that the trail you mean?

Looks like a trail to go with a buddy or two.

The road you were on was not a trail, its an access road. Where we cut up the tree was before the entrance to cable trail. It runs uphill to the top of the sand hills.
