anybody ever have this happen with their Johnny Joints? Do I need to use a larger snap ring? The bushing came out past the snap ring on like 4 joints. On one of them the snap ring came partially out out??

Anybody?

Thanks, Scott

I think your missing the washer that keeps the bushing in.:eeek:

been beating mine for three years and loving them:redneck:

Gentlemen, start your engines! :flipoff:

(And the debate starts)

Sorry, couldn't resist. :kissmyass:

As Sarg has stated...you are missing the washer that goes between the snap-ring and poly material. You are missing parts that are designed to be installed :awesomework:

As for RE screw in JJ'...the poly material they use for their bushings is absolute crap causing them to wear faster. Same **** different day...I have JJ's on my Jeep that have been on there for 8+ years...no wear and no issues

I thought it was just my eyes playing tricks on me. definetly a needed part.

I am not the one who assembled them..but that would make sense.. I guess I'll go about ordering the needed parts..lol

BTW- where is the best place to get replacement parts for these?

Thanks, Scott

I may have some spare parts kicking around in the garage (Monroe) if all you need is the washer. Otherwise I would call Currie, comnplete rebuild kits were $8 last time I bought one (only to find out I didn't it).
