Anyone running leafs in the front and coilovers on the ass?
I have been for a few years, just now trying to dial them in a little?
wondering what spring rates you was running on them.

have 44044's on front and had 140 over 175's on the ass
way too light, truck always followed whatever the front did
am trying a 225 over a 275 this weekend to see if the junk is a little more stable.
not sure what each corner weighs but i am thinking that i need something close to the front leafs in order for this to be somewhat stable
Anyone had exerience with this?
Is a 2nd generation truck by the way 4cyl 5 speed toy reduction dana 300 toy axles
am guessing the weight to be around 3400 or 3500 pounds
good example below.

It will always do that no matter the spring rate. try a heavy sway bar in rear to try to transfer to front . but your leaf springs will always be dominate. there is no negative pull to coils like there is leafs

Nobody is telling me the rates, thus is why i am seeking wisdom....
it happens to be the coils that i have laying around
Can you tell me why you would use 125 and a 250.

Hopefully I can get each corner weighed somewhere soon.

kinda makes sence on no negative pull thing.
bumpstop maybe ?

I'd outboard the coilovers more. Get them out on the outsides of the diff as far as you can. Even cut and notch the frame out so they can sit outside the frame.

X2....thats the first thing I noticed.Flopped over like that reminds me of Little
Kieths Yota that would cam over just turning on yhe flat.As stated above, a Sway bar would make a ton of difference and probably let you run youre current spring rate.

Oh.......and I aint no fabricator so disreguard as you see fit

Appreciate the replys
moved the upper mounts up and out
put some 225's over 275's on it
took it around the block
doesn't roll over like it did
doesn't sag to the drivers side like it did with my fat ass in it
going to the trail for a couple of hours
and see if it flops over like it did.
thanks again...
