So went up to Evans on Sunday with a few friends. Had my jeep, 2 dirt bikes, and a suburban. Started off just goin up login roads to the end of 520. Then headed back down and the dirtbikers didnt like the snow, so they wanted to go. then the burban followed along because it was way to big for trails..

So me bein the usual dumbass i am.. i filled my jeep up and decided to find one last hill climb to finish the day off. Well we kept comin to dead ends or weak trails. Then we did an awesome trail run that i made it through. It was pretty nasty, so i decided it would be better to push ahead and find the road rather then navigate back down.. BAD IDEA!

Ended up coming to a fork in the road and finally busted out the map. Turns out i was on 520. We decided to follow it out because it was a square run and the others were diamonds. Well with a foot of snow and no lockers this run was A LOT harder. Couple different times i was sidehilling, my back end decided it wanted to slide off the mountain... Ended up hooking a tow strap to the back and havin to friends pull it back on the mountain while i creeped forward. Thank God Jeeps dont weigh anything. After that i halled balls and made it out the top victorious! It was definitely some scary ****.. Made it out safe though and had the time of our life!!! :D :cheer: :awesomework:

Whats with the axe being in some of the pics?

he broke his shifter pedal and needed a hammer. So we used the back of the axe to beat it in :redneck: its in the background by the jeep cuz we got bored and tried to have a bat and axe fight.. good times lol :awesomework:

Good times, I didn't think there'd be that much snow up there this early but I guess with all that rain/cold we were just having it put a pretty good blanket down up there. Thanks for the report

Yeah. the 520 is like the worst trail to do in the snow. Glad ya made it and had fun.

I'm going with 519 as the worst to do in the snow. It's a green run in the summer but looking down those cliffs while driving on sidehills. It's a mini pucker ridge and down right dangerous in the winter.

The 520 has the one section where it crosses the rock field that can get hairy. That little section has claim a few vehicles... and people.
