I just installed 4 of the "PRIME" Rockford 6.5" 3-ways in my younger kids Subaru.
They are a lower wattage speaker that is great for the price to replace stock stuff.

Thanks for sharing the photos. In the one set of photos it looks like you drop through that shoot and then there is that big rock right in the middle of the bottom of the chute! That was probably a tricky spot!

Last minute decision...and only because I caught a mention of it on Facebook.
I fixed my rig the night before (trans cooler fan not working) and pulled it onto the trailer in the morning.
It went pretty good. We went up the right side of the fork in the road and Crash, Sarg, and a young fella in a Toy pick-up had a good time. The rest of the wheelers all seemed to go to the left towards the bowl. And it sounds like it was a stuck-fest!

Sounds like you had a loose front stud and the arm pivoted a bit around the "lever". Probably had been loose for a bit and developed a stress fracture.
