Dealer wanted $600.00 to do a tune up on my truck. Still can't figure how they could charge that much. I did it for $58.00, and all that is needed is to replaced was 5 spark plugs.
Or am I missing something?
The truck is a 2005 Chevy Colorado.
Installed this yesterday.

While trying to find a way to connect the power cables to a GM side post battery. I've heard that you can melt the terminals out of the side of the battery from the high amp draw. Has anyone heard this? :thud:
Went passed two Wranglers on the hill climb part of the 311 trail. I was crawling up it in first gear. Almost ran over the :looser: standing in the way. What did you think...I wasn't going to make it?

Went to Elbe Hills ORV Park. This was the first time I been there. I did the Busywild trail. I've heard storys and seen video of this trail. All of them told me it was a really hard trail. Well I made it through...
Went to try out my new Full Floater Dana 44 with a Detroit Locker and the springs that I took a leaf out of. All I can say is. Wow what a differance. The springs worked great and the Detroit make it much easier to get over the rough stuff. Should of taken the leafs out years ago. Had a little...
I put a Detroit with 4.27 gears in my offset 44. When I went to install the axles. I had to much end play. I also found they gave me the wrong seal retainer. I had to drill some more hole to get the axles intalled. That's when I found the end play problem. Seems I need to install the old bearing...
I waited 2 1/2 months for these Sommers Brothers Axles. They're 30 splined offset 44 Axles. Do you think they sent a shirt for my wait? Too bad it's a XL shirt. Large is my size.:eeek:

Found out my dana 25 needed more money to fix it then it was worth. So I found a Dana 30 with 4.27 gears. I just finished the install yesterday.
The weird part is the gears that I found in my Jeep. I thought they were the stock 5.38 gears...Well I was wrong. I have 4.27 in the Dana 25 and 4.09...
We did a snow run yesterday. I had proiblems with my fuel pump so I went with my brother. I was amazed. Even with non agressive tires you can still do really well. He easily did the 311 trail. My brothers friend with the Toyota had to winch in one spot or he was going off the trail.
Here is two...
