    Steering Box ID Numbers

    The steering box I have in my 83 Crew Cab has the number 78026441 then just below it the number 20. I am looking at one off a junker that has the same number, but below it is the number 23. What does this mean? I'm guessing maybe something to do with ratio? Should it work without a major difference?
