    Gas pedal too sensitive

Good point. I'll start with moving the pedal down and in (left in pic) because I have to otherwise I can barely drive it. :rolf:

    Gas pedal too sensitive

Yes. And Yes. Last week was my first ride, before cutting cable I wanted to make sure. (It's tough to lengthen a cable! Will shorten.) thumb.gif Looking to build a strategy for less sensitivity and then execute this weekend. Right now I'm thinking 1) move down 3" 2) adjust lower pedal arm...

    Gas pedal too sensitive

Currently the pedal is set for WOT in that method. But it's "out" toward the driver's seat too much. My foot literally cramps up. May have to loose some throttle to even be able to drive comfortably. There's no receiver on the pedal accept for at the top.

    Gas pedal too sensitive

Yes, Lokar 2 piece. If I loosen the center pivot and move lower pedal assembly downward then it has less distance until it hits the firewall = less throw, right? Adding cable length adds slack to the throttle cable, doesn't that just make it more loose? (I'll read up on Lokar.)

    Gas pedal too sensitive

That would give the cable more resistance which helps with sensitive, right?

    Gas pedal too sensitive

Where would the spring go? From the firewall to the pedal upper arm? Hopefully that and moving down 2-3” (change pedal ratio a little bit since it won’t be perpidicular anymore) will do it. The cable to upper pedal arm attachment wouldn’t be easy to modify. It’s built for that connection...

    Gas pedal too sensitive

Hey dudes, went wheeling for the first time last weekend and found out real quick that my gas pedal is suuuuper touchy. Makes it really hard to maintain a speed or just add a little throttle to crawl up something. I've attached a pic of my pedal. Any suggestions to make it less sensitive? (Yes...

    Can I notch frame rail?

I'm in Austin TX! I'd love to meet guys, and I have monies and beers to entice. My plan as of last night is to NOT notch the frame rails, not move the upper roll cage higher....for now. Just mount the seats the best I can and take it for a few rides to see. That way I don't do anything...

    Can I notch frame rail?

Hey guys, I bought scjustin's buggy and trying to add back seats. I could install them as is, adding roll cage to mount them to of course, but that would be pretty tight on leg and head room. So I'm considering notching the frame rail by about 2" to get more leg and head room. Is this idiotic...

What seats are these? Can you ID them?

Hey guys, newbie here, just bought scjustin's rig and waiting for transport to bring it down to Texas! Very stoked. I'm gonna add 2 back seats and I want 2 bucket seats instead of 1 bench seat. But we can't figure out what seats are in the rig now to match them! Does anyone know what seats...
