Other than the Spidertrax parts, the entire car is 4130 chromoly. The plate material is 3/16, 1/8, and 1/16. The ram is centered. The upper link bolt on the right side is the offset part. Gives us the up travel to drive it like a dirtbike with the offset motor.

Thanks. At least 2 - 3 times mig weld time. I don't weld on anything that isn't cool enough to touch with my hand, and probably a half of a notch at a time. And work in the dual passes. Probably why it looks like I have 40 things going on at once. I do it on purpose.

I built this one to be welded on. When it gets messed up, it can be cut off and sanded down to the stainless steel, to be rebuilt again. Maybe carrying a ready tie rod, will be a quicker fix if broke.

Actually, I'm glad you explained it that way. No joke. This is all the more reason for a specialized network to become known.

Free lance shock tuning is a hard business for one reason. Almost every shock company uses different parts, and you have to have pretty much everything to do the job right. It's a big investment to do it right. I wish I knew how Wayne got it all rolling.

I think it's just a matter of starting an idea, and spreading the word. Quick example would be, I have a **** ton of wire rolls, and wiring tools here at my shop, but I don't consider myself a wiring guy. The right guy could walk in here with a small box of their tools and use everything I...

I guess if someone is trying to build something in their garage as cheap as dirt, then the conversation doesn't even exist. But on the other hand, if someone, or a company were interested in a high quality process, and it became normal to call on these people it would not be that hard, or...

Oh, sorry.... I forgot to explain. I built all of that front bumper earlier around the Bomber front end. The version I built will be fairly easy to replace after the car crushes into something.

Not really pointed towards the 95% of the general public that mis-read what I post on a general basis, but more towards the business owners on the east coast. I think the reason why the west coast off road economy is so more up scale is because they use an abundance of different traveling...

I guess it's a given I'm not very quick at building cars by myself. Hopefully I get to do the aluminum fabrication too. I bet PJ can do the wiring, and then we can hook up in a race with Batmobile Will.... But only if he hooks up with Andrew in a race first. We'll take the winner, lol

I think that the chromoly scale is more valuable keeping it on the tubing. We like the welds. The corrosion resistance on these cars should be close to a peak before they start getting oiled.
