What do the people of " Hardline" think?

In the opening statement in that link to the mags site they stated that most buggy guys don't read it. In part that is why they are looking to exclude the buggy's from the TTC. The replies in this thread are evidence that they are correct, even with buggy's competing in the comp most dont...

I gotta change carriers to re gear, options are all around the same price; Detroit, Grizzly, or an OEM style carrier and a lunch box like a spartan or lockright? Which one seems to hold up better? Thanks, Sam

My cousin gave me these 44" gumbo monster mudders last fall so I recently got some used beadlocks for them, cut them up and put them on my buggy. When I put the gears in the rear end I noticed the splines on the shafts were twisted a fair bit and was a matter of time till they let go. Although...

    Grooving TSLs

I had a buddy from a tire shop tell me about those groovers so I took a cheap hole saw.and sharpened it up like a knife blade on the bench grinder to hack into my XZL's. It worked great and fast as it takes oit wide strips and will cut for as.long a run as you can control it for. It was kinda...

The front springs are stock XJ. they are really good so far, dont unload really hard like the ribicon ones i had at first. The cantilever is working well also, Im getting 18" travel from an 8" shock. I was concerned there wouldnt be enough dampening but even at 55ish mph lots of control.

I am comming up to mounting my ram also and have seen that almosr all are mounted to the tierod like in the above pic. I am assuming that it is so the ram utilizes the pivot from the joints on the tierod? I had intended to put a pivoting joint on the truss mount and go right to the high steer...

    Lifts for IFS

the Rough Country one doesn't have a drop for the cross member either, they use a bracket that goes on the LCA to attatch the tortion bar to, nothing hangin low in the belly to be an eye sore or hang up if it were to go off the beaten path. Sam
