Shake down the front end... Ball joints are a common problem could be a tie rod or your steering box could be bad.....
Or take it over to Crashes house and have him look at it....
As John said above we had a club member use the winch at are meet and greet. I was extremely impressed with the smitty winch. I have seen alot of winches in use and the smitty was fast and pulled very well....
In the bed of my Comanche made my own mount. Pulled out the tail light installed a 1/2 bolt for the base to sit on. Then made a front clamping mechanism with a 1/2 bolt drilled for a lock.
First thing I recommend is get them sipped. I had a set and I loved them, they work with some sipping and cutting. The sipping will help a lot in the rocks and on the snow and Ice....
I've got a 99 powerstroke 7.3 6speed and after I did the edge and exhaust and intake I noticed the surge when pulling hills in the higher rpms I did the garret aftermarket turbo because it was a good deal and it took care of it and damn its fun to drive... and some nice turbo whine......
