If your looking for a short term fix id go with a lockrite, aussie, or EZ locker. Honestly its not worth putting an ARB or a detroit in a D30. Unless your swimming in green stuff. The ARB is the better choice because you can turn it on and off, which will allow your D30 to live a little longer...

We use to own a 28ft winnebago with a 454 and Turbo 400 tranny. We towed 10,000lb's with it to Pomona, ca a couple times, and to mission, BC probably a hundred times with it. It was slow going on the pass but other than that it was fine.
