oh and 7/8" is probably fine for the lowers. you could use 3/4" for the uppers. I overbulid things and have 1 1/4" lowers and 7/8" uppers.

yep. mine does the same thing. But every once in a while i struggle to get it into L from neutral. It will go back into H no problem, but neither F or R will go into L without some messing with it.

my atlas shifts like a whore sometimes but ive never even come close to breaking a cable. Does the sheeth have a nick in it that is causing it to rub and break? does it break in the same spot?

i did an old CJ one time and i took all of the vacuum lines out and started over. Much simpler.

damnit! thats what i thought and why im hesitant to start cutting into it. looks like im saving up some money and shipping it off.

this is what im worried about. I wont be running any emissions equipment, no cat, airbag sensor, abs sensor or anything else i dont "have" to have. i dont want to start ripping stuff out and **** myself and a good harness up.

i have it stored at my parents house for the time being. So its currently in the sticks between purdy, key center, belfair and port orchard. Im in the middle of Port orchard. 700 was a little steep, but i would be willing to spend 400 to just plug and play.
